About Us

A Bear’s Gift is a gift and stationery shop. We are a small business and have been operating since 2020. A Bear’s Gift offers several custom made gifts, products for gifting, and stationery. All custom made gifts, such as the Graduation Bouquet and Origami Figure, are handmade and crafted from Bear herself. A Bear’s Gift also offers key chains, washi tapes, journals, and many more to come!

It all started with Bear’s love for sewing, crafting, and folding origami figure growing up. In her younger days, she learned how to sew in a Home Education class and found her passion for working with a sewing machine and sewing; she continues to sew to this day.

Bear’s love for folding origami happened during school when there was time in between classes. She would often bring a bunch of cut paper and fold 3D origami pieces. After folding these pieces, she would connect them together to build a figure. Bear’s friends and classmates were always curious about what she did with the folded papers. When she explained that she uses the folded papers to make a cute figure, they all loved her 3D origami figures. She would often give the figures away or sell them. It was very fun for Bear to continue making origami figures because her friend would suggest animals or characters. Bear loved the challenge and each suggestion pushed Bear to improve her skills and imagination.

When it comes to stationery, there is one simple reason: Bear loves to collect them because they are very cute. It’s a guilty pleasure, and she is obsessed with them.  To decorating a journal with cute stickers and tape, and be surround by the little items that brings her joy, was what Bear enjoyed doing. She wanted to share that feeling and show cute stationaries to others as well by selling them to people.

Bear’s inspiration for making 3D Origami Graduation Bouquets is from the time she wanted to give her friends gifts on their college graduation. She wanted to give her friends flower bouquets, but flower bouquets do not last very long. So, Bear got the idea to make a flower bouquet that would last longer. She combined her love for 3D origami, making a graduation bear, with artificial flower to make a flower bouquet. That was how the 3D Origami Graduation Bouquet was born. Bear’s little sister encouraged her to sell the things Bear made and loved. So, after a little pushing, Bear opened her very own shop. Bear is currently selling her craft made items alongside cute stationery items she found. Thank you for all your support and please continue to watch how Bear continues her journey down this path!
